DIE CASTING

Description

It is a process by using cast iron mold or heat-resistant alloy steel mold on a die-casting machine, which is currently the most productive casting process. Compared to sand casting, the cooling process during casting is faster. The products have high density, good surface and dimensional accuracy. This process is typically used for the parts that require compression resistance and high strength, such as pistons for automobiles.

Advantage

① The cooling process is faster than that of sand casting. It is possible to produce parts with high density and excellent mechanical properties.

② By using molds, the dimensional accuracy is very perfect.

③ Considering the mold cost, it is more suitable for the mass production than the small batch.
